A Day of Health and Healing at the Annual Bennington Wellness Fair

Imagine one place where you could learn about the newest holistic healing practices and places locally to receive them. Wouldn’t that be great? Well, the community of Bennington, Vermont does just that! One weekend focused on the newest and coolest practices and practitioners of holistic health in one location!

Bennington Holistic Healing Practitioners (BHHP) has announced that their 2nd Annual Wellness Fair will be taking place on Saturday, April 27th from 11am-4pm at the Mount Anthony Country Club at 180 Country Club Drive.

This event is free to the public and family-friendly! Attendance is encouraged by everyone who is interested in educating themselves on what health and wellness services are available to them throughout the Southern Vermont region and celebrating these options during this exciting day of events. Local practitioners and businesses from the area will be available to inform of their services, offer brief treatment sessions, and showcase products for sale.

2018’s inaugural event at the same venue boasted over 500 attendees throughout the course of the event. This year’s fair will once again include a variety of vendors, scheduled informative seminars by recognized professionals, mini-treatments and demonstrations, giveaways, lunch specials by The Grille at MACC and much more. Families can visit the RiseVT - Bennington County Kids Korner for a fun scavenger hunt, dance fitness, healthy snacks, Jeopardy and giveaways!

“Our first event was incredible and exceeded even our own expectations”, said Lindy Lynch, treasurer and committee leader of the organization. “As someone who has been in and out of the health system over the past years with my own battles against cancer, an event like this is so important to our community to help people navigate all of their options and decide a treatment plan that works the best for them.”

BHHP’s mission is to provide the public with access to both traditional healthcare options and integrative/complimentary therapies. By collaboratively gathering and sharing information about these services and practitioners, this provides broader opportunities for selecting appropriate treatments and preventative approaches for healthy lifestyles and overall balanced wellness.
