Vermont as a whole has proven to be fertile ground for new businesses, ranking second in the nation on the Kauffman Foundation’s 2016 Index of Main Street Entrepreneurship for Smaller States and boasting homegrown ventures like Ben & Jerry’s, Keurig Green Mountain, Burton, and Orvis. Vermont also ranks number one on the Opportunity Index, with 23 percent of employment in the state stemming from small businesses…
The Manchester Business Association and the Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce have reached an agreement under which the MBA will work with the chamber as its liaison in the Northshire and both organizations will help each other attract and serve members.
On Thursday night, the Shires Young Professionals chose Bennington’s new nightlife hotspot, Miller’s Toll Dinner Club and Lounge, to announce a reinvigorated mission and brand.
In partnership with the area Chamber of Commerce, the former Bennington Young Professionals group has been working behind the scenes over the past few months to develop a new look and strategy. A new logo and website have been launched, and a new mission statement, vision, and goals were shared at the event.
