The election schedule for 2008:
-The date for the General Election is November 4, 2008
-The September primary for both the Democratic and Republican party will also be held Tuesday the 9, 2008
-The annual school meeting will be held Tuesday March 4, 2008
-Petitions for major party candidates (State senator, Representative, and high bailiff) are due July 21, 2008 by 5 P.M. at the Bennington Town Clerk's office.
-Sample Ballots will be posted on the website when available.
Voting will take place at the Bennington firehouse on Lincoln Street for Bennington Voters and the North Bennington firehouse for North Bennington voters.
