Edison People interested in helping with trail maintenance please call Hamilton Topping at 802-447-1383 or E-mail: chertop@sover.net All levels of help are appreciated, everything from giving rides to the trail head to overnight work parties. A typical work party would be 2-6 people day hiking through a couple mile stretch of trail, cutting blowdowns and trimming brush along the trail. You need not be a Green Mountain Club member to participate. We often have new people helping out. It's a great way to meet interesting people of all ages. It's a good excuse to get outdoors, and at the same time contribute work to a worthy cause. |
