Canoe/Kayak Lake George
Saturday, June 14

It's Flag Day. Show your patriotism by bringing your flag with your kayak or canoe. Plan to paddle somewhere in the range of 5-8 miles on Lake George-- more or less, as the group wishes. The exact location of the put-in is TBA, but it will not be right next to Lake George Village. I'd like to explore some of the islands further up the lake. Bring lunch, water, clothing/bathing suit/sunscreen to suit the weather, as well as a reserve of dry, warm clothing either in a dry bag, a daypack lined with a plastic bag, or at the minimum, left in the car for the return trip. We'll need an early start as it takes a while to get there. Want to paddle, but don't have a boat? Please contact me anyway and we may be able to pair you up with a partner with a boat. Please call in advance, so I can fine tune trip details. Meet at Bennington Rec. Center, 7:30 a.m.
