                            MINUTES
Present:  Barry Horst - Chair, Charles Copp, Bob Burgess, Sharon Yorke
Also Present   Dan Monks - Zoning Administrator, Jim Sullivan, BCRC
Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
Review of Changes to 24 V.S.A Chapter 117 (State Municipal Planning Statute)  Jim Sullivan, BCRC Director of Planning, summarized the recent changes to the State Municipal Planning Statute.  Many of the changes require the Planning Commission to revise Bennington's Land Use and Development Regulations before September of 2005.  Most of the changes will involve procedural issues.  The Planning Commission directed the Planning Director to develop and submit to the Planning Commission for review draft language for all changes required by State Statute.           
Other Business
The Planning Commission approved a letter to the owner of the BenMar property (former Johnson Controls) drafted by the Planning Director acknowledging receipt of the owner's request to re-zone the property from Industrial to Planned Commercial.
