                             MINUTES
Present:  Barry Horst - Chair, Michael McDonough, Sharon Yorke, Charles Copp
Also Present:  Dan Monks - Zoning Administrator, Laura Raskin - Banner Reporter
          
Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
UMU District - Review of Proposed Amendments
     The Planning Commission reviewed proposed changes to the UMU District prepared by the Planning Director. The Planning Commission requested that the Planning Director make changes to address their comments.
FY05 Planning Grant Application
     Bob Burgess moved that the Planning Commission apply for a FY05 Planning Grant to update the Town Plan.  Charles Copp seconded the motion.  The motion passed unanimously.
Town Plan Update
     The Planning Commission reviewed a draft agenda for the public forum scheduled for September 22, 2004 to kick-off the Town Plan update.
     The Planning Commission suggested a few modifications to the agenda.
Other Business
     The Planning Director discussed his concern regarding VTRANS' failure to install the signs the Town requested for the Western Leg of Route 279.  The attached e-mail outlines the issue.
