                            MINUTES
                         June 26, 2002

          205 South Street, Bennington, Vermont 05201
                    Members Present:    Barry Horst, Chair - Bob Burgess, Clerk - Sharon Yorke
                    Also Present:       Dan Monks, Zoning Administrator 
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
CVPS/VELCO Transmission Line Relocation - Chapel Road Area
          Bob Burgess moved and Sharon Yorke seconded that the Planning Commission support the      proposed transmission line relocation as presented by CVPS.
          The motion passed unanimously.
          A letter to CVPS regarding this motion is attached.
Northside Drive Transportation Analysis - Review of Bids
          The Planning Commission members discussed the bids received from consultants for the      Northside Drive Transportation Analysis.  After much discussion Bob Burgess moved and      Charles Copp seconded to award the bid to Wilbur Smith Associates.
     The motion passed unanimously.
Zoning Bylaw Revision Project - Review of Proposed Changes to Article 4
          The Planning Commission discussed proposed changes to Article 4 - General Regulations.
Other Business:
          The Planning Director noted that a public hearing regarding the Bennington County      Transportation Plan Update would be held in August, 2002.
The meeting was adjourned.
