                      Members Present:    Barry Horst - Chair, Bob Burgess - Clerk, Michael McDonough, 
                 Sharon Yorke, Charles Copp
                      Also Present        Dan Monks - Zoning Administrator
  The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
  Meeting Schedule
            The Planning Commission scheduled its next meeting for June 12, 2002 at 5:00 p.m.  
  Electric Transmission Line Relocation - Bennington New Highway - Chapel Road Area   - Meeting with VELCO and CVPS
            By consensus, the Planning Commission agreed that the Chair and Zoning        Administrator would draft and send a letter to the Select Board and VELCO/CVPS        expressing the Planning Commission's desire for VELCO/CVPS to submit additional        information regarding the proposal as soon as possible, so that the construction of the        eastern leg of the New Highway would not be delayed.
  Discussion Regarding Disposition of Bennington's Woodlot Properties
            See attached Memorandum to Select Board from the Planning Commission Chair        outlining the Planning Commission's position.
  Zoning Bylaw Revision Project - Review of Proposed Changes to Article 4
            The Planning Commission discussed proposed changes to Article 4 - General        Regulations.
  The meeting was adjourned.
