                      Members Present:    Barry Horst - Chair, Bob Burgess - Clerk, Michael McDonough, 
                 Charles Copp, Sharon Yorke
                      Also Present:       Select Board Members: Sharyn Brush, Joseph Krawczyk, Michael                       Lochner, James Gulley
                      Also Present        Dan Monks - Zoning Administrator, Stuart A. Hurd - Town Manager,                       Bob Gates - Banner Reporter, Mr. and Mrs. Watson - Citizens
  The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
  Meeting Schedule
            The Planning Commission scheduled its next meeting for May 29, 2002 at 5:00 p.m.  
  Electric Transmission Line Relocation - Bennington New Highway - Chapel Road Area   - Meeting with VELCO and CVPS
            The Select Board and Planning Commission discussed the Select Board's recent        position regarding CVPS/VELCO's proposal for relocating the power lines in the        Chapel Road area to accommodate the eastern leg of the New Highway. 
            The Select Board stated that it was not their intention to delay construction of the        New Highway.  The Select Board wished to obtain more information re: how the        Agency of Transportation and VELCO/CVPS made their decision.
            Stuart Hurd relayed that AOT and VELCO/CVPS would be submitting additional        information to the Select Board and Planning Commission.
            Bob Burgess moved and Mike McDonough seconded that the matter be tabled until        additional information is received from AOT & VELCO/CVPS.
       The motion passed unanimously.
  Zoning Bylaw Revision Project - Review of Proposed Changes to Article 3
            The Planning Commission discussed proposed changes to Article 3
  The meeting was adjourned.
