                           MINUTES
                      December 12, 2001

                      Members Present:    Barry Horst - Chair, Bob Burgess - Clerk, 
                 Michael McDonough, Michael Lochner, Sharon Yorke
                      Also Present:       Dan Monks, Zoning Administrator
                 Bob Gates, Bennington Banner
                                
  The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
  Mount Anthony Middle School - Act 250 Commission Hearing 
            The Planning Commission discussed the ten Act 250 criteria and the possible issues on        which the Planning Commission may wish to offer testimony.
            The Planning Commission noted several inconsistencies with the Development        Review Board permit and the Middle School's Act 250 application.  
            Bob Burgess moved to have the Zoning Administrator draft a memorandum to the        Development Review Board outlining the inconsistencies noted by the Planning        Commission and requesting the Development Review Board to authorize the Planning        Commission to bring these inconsistencies to the attention of the Act 250 Commission. 
            Mike McDonough seconded the motion.
            The motion passed unanimously.
            The Planning Commission agreed to meet again to determine if the Planning        Commission would offer testimony at the Act 250 commission and if so, what the        content of the testimony would be. 
            The Planning Commission scheduled its next meeting for December 18, 2001 at 4:30        p.m.
