  The meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m.
  Zoning Bylaw Revision Project 
            The Planning Commission discussed with Brian Shupe comments sent to Burnt Rock,        Inc. regarding Article 1 and Article 9.
            The Planning Commission discussed the issue of demolitions.  The Planning        Commission agreed that site plan review was appropriate for demolitions.  
            The Planning Commission discussed, at length, proposed revisions to the CB, VC,        UMU and CI districts.  The issue of a cap on the square footage of the "big box" retail        stores was also discussed.  Burnt Rock, Inc. agreed to prepare recommendations        regarding the cap on "big box" retailers and to prepare suggested revisions to the        Bylaw regarding the commercial districts discussed.
            The Planning Commission scheduled its next meeting for November 28, 2001 at 5:00        p.m.
