                       August 23, 2001

                      Members Present:    Barry Horst - Chair, Bob Burgess - Clerk, 
                 Michael McDonough, Sharon Yorke
                      Also Present:       Dan Monks, Zoning Administrator,
                 
  The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
  Zoning Bylaw Revision Project - Conference call with Brian Shupe, Burnt Rock, Inc.
            The Commission members and Brian Shupe discussed the format of the Public Forums        regarding the Bylaw Revision Project.  It was determined that the following format        would be employed:
                           1)   Barry Horst delivers introductory comments about the Zoning Bylaw                  Project.
                           2)   The Zoning Administrator describes, generally, the Zoning Districts.
                           3)   Brian Shupe delivers brief comments regarding his work to date.
                           4)   The Commission takes input from the public.
  The meeting was adjourned.
