                   December 12, 2007 MINUTES
MEMBERS PRESENT: Tordis Ilg Isselhardt, Anne Bugbee, Laura Gresh and Meg Campbell.
Excused: Scott Murphy
Also Present: Paula Sagerman, Historic Preservation Consultant; Daniel Monks, Planning Director and Zoning Administrator for the Town of Bennington; Jeff Goldstone and Kirk Moore, BMA Architects & Planners & Tom Quinn. Beth Antognioni.    1. Minutes of November 27, 2007 - Minutes were approved as written.  
2. CLG National Register Expansion - Public Hearing
Paula Sagerman, Historic Preservation Consultant was hired by the Historic Preservation Commission to prepare a National Register of Historic Places nomination for the expansion of the existing Downtown Bennington Historic District.  Paula completed a nomination to the National Register and sent an original to Sue Jamele at the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation.   Meg Campbell wanted to thank Paula publicly and noted that she did a really thorough job with the project.
3. DRB
Applejack Historic Real Estate, LLC., 190 North Street, VA Outpatient Clinic
Jeff Goldstone from BMA Architects & Planners presented a plan for 190 North Street for the VA Outpatient Clinic.  HPC had no objections to the plan presented.
4.  CLG 07-2 Grant Discussion - RFP Preparation
Laura will make final changes to the RFP and then forward to HPC.  Meg will work on a mailing list for the RFP and forward the list to Beth to mail out the RFP.
5.  Community Meeting Updates - NONE
6. Other Preservation Issues
HPC members would like Scott to bring in the plans on the two buildings discussed at a previous on 11/27/07.
Tordis questioned what the Town was doing in reference to Ancients Roads?  It was suggested that Tordis invite Tyler Resch to attend a HPC meeting to discuss Ancient Roads.  Tordis will let Beth know when to include Tyler on the agenda.
A couple of other questions came up for Scott to respond to as he was not in attendance:   1. Is there any update on the Downtown offices relocation?   2. Tordis wondered about the status of increasing
membership to HPC.             Next Meeting Dates:
