BENNINGTON HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION

MEMBERS PRESENT:    Anne Bugbee, Tordis Ilg Isselhardt, Meg Campbell, Jon Dostal, Sharon                     Yorke, and William Colvin.

1.   Minutes of December 8, 2004
Isselhardt moved, Yorke seconded the Minutes of December 8, 2004 be approved as presented.  
2.   DRB - No Update
3.   2004 CLG Project
Michael Allen reviewed the proposed addendum to "Time and Place".  Suggestions were made regarding captions, photos, demolition requirements and traffic signage.  Commissioners will review the document and get any additional comments to Allen by January 10.
4.   2005 Historic Preservation Conference
Campbell noted the Division for Historic Preservation has made a deal with the artist who produced the postcard announcement for last year's conference in Bellows Falls. A list of potential keynote speakers has been developed.
5.   Other Preservation Issues
Campbell noted that the developers of the assisted living project at the former Middle School are looking for a name for the project.  Perhaps something based upon the history of the building?
