BENNINGTON HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION

                               MINUTES
                    MEMBERS PRESENT:    Meg Campbell, David Aldrich, John Dostal, Vic Rolando and Bill Colvin
MEMBERS EXCUSED: Sharon Yorke, Anne Bugbee, and Tordis Ilg Isselhardt
     1.   Minutes of May 12, 2004  
The following should be added to the Minutes of May 12, 2004 - Members Excused: Vic Rolando and Meg Campbell.
Aldrich moved and Campbell seconded that Minutes of May 12, 2004 be approved as amended.  Unanimous.
     2.   DRB Update - No update.  
     3.   At Risk Assessments - Campbell distributed an "Inventory of At-Risk Sites &      Structures" (attached).  Commission members should review list and recommend  which      buildings they would like to have submitted for the Preservation Trust grant      application.
     4.   Plaque Program - postponed until June 19, 2004.  
     5.   Other Preservation Issues - Campbell noted the next Vermont Preservation      Conference will be held in Bennington, the 3rd week in May 2005.
     
     6.   Van Nostrand House - At 3:50 p.m. meeting adjourned to do a site visit at the former      Van Nostrand property on Harwood Hill.  Campbell, Rolando, and Colvin visited the site.
