BENNINGTON HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION Town Office Conference Room Wednesday, October 29, 2003 - 3:00 p.m. MINUTES MEMBERS PRESENT: Meg Campbell, Tordis Ilg Isselhardt, Anne Bugbee, Victor Rolando, John Dostal, Sharon Yorke, Hugh Baker, David Aldrich, and William B. Colvin. Yorke called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. 1. Minutes of October 8, 2003 2. HPC Roles, Duties & Goals Change Following is a "To Do" list for the Commission to - Following is a list of directions we might take for the Commission: Change - Expand Downtown National Register District to - Expand Bennington Downtown National Register District 3. At Risk Sites and Structures Survey Vail Farm, Wyman House on Northside Drive, and 235 Silk Road were discussed. At Risk Sites and Structures Survey is an ongoing list of historic properties deteriorating or otherwise threatened. Isselhardt moved, Bugbee seconded the Minutes of October 29, 2003 be approved as amended. Unanimous. 2. North Bennington Stone Church - no update 3. Tour of Town While on our tour we noticed the signs on the new "Top Nails" business as well as the decal on the Southern Vermont College storefront on west Main street.
