DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD

MINUTES

BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT:  Charles Copp, Chair; Ron Alderman, Bill Barney, Ryan Morse, Al Ray, Dan Malmborg, Michael von Ouhl, and Milt Surdam.

NOT PRESENT:  Barry Hörst. 

OTHERS PRESENT:  Dan Monks, Zoning Administrator; and Robyn Baker, Recording Secretary.

Copp called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. 

1.  Minutes of October 7, 2008.

Ray  moved and Barney seconded approval of the minutes of October 7, 2008 as amended, to include the names of the applicants under Others Present, John Gay, Civil Engineer for Casella, and Randy Dapron, Regional Marketing Manager. The motion carried.      

2.  Interested Persons - Appeal Rights - Reading of witness' oath
Monks read the oath.  

3.  Disclosure of Ex parte Communications and Conflicts of Interest

4. Alternates - Voting Assignments

5. Casella Waste Management, Inc. and Town of Bennington, 906 Houghton Lane, the applicants are seeking development plan approval for a new transfer station building off of Houghton Lane.  

Morse moved to close the hearing to deliberative session. Ray seconded. The motion passed unanimously. 

9. Other Business

There is no meeting on the first Tuesday of November. 

As there was no further business, Ray moved to adjourn. Morse seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:12 PM.
