1. Bennington Monument
Go west on Main St. and turn right on to Monument Avenue. At the top of Monument Avenue. you will see The Bennington Monument. Parking is available at the base of the monument.
2. The Old Academy
From the Monument head south on Monument Avenue. Notice the Old Academy on the left side of the road about 500ft south of the Monument.
3. The Catamount Tavern site
From the Old Academy head south on Monument Avenue. Notice the Catamount statue on the left side of the road about 500ft from the Old Academy.
4. The Village Lion Fountain
From the Catamount Tavern site head south on Monument Avenue. Notice the Village Lion Fountain on the lawn at the intersection of Main St. and Monument Ave..
5. The Walloomsac Inn
From the Village Fountain, head southwest. Notice the Walloomsac Inn at the intersection of route 9 and Main St.
6. The "Old First Church"
Directly east and across the street from the Walloomsac Inn is the "Old First Church". Notice also the cemetary behind the church where Robert Frost is buried.
7. The Bennington Museum
The Bennington Museum is directly east (behind) the cemetary.

To get back to your car you can either follow the same route you came or you can take the side road across the street from the museum which connects back to Monument Ave.
