When visiting Bennington, consider taking the scenic route - on foot! Walking tours are a great way to take in some of the exciting history, and beautiful sites while getting great exercise for yourself and your health.
The Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present two walking tours. You can "walk" the tours virtually here on our web site, or download the Adobe PDF file brochures to take them in person.
Each tour is estimated at 1.5 miles. The downtown tour is relatively level and an easy and safe walk. The Old Bennington tour, which includes many historic landmarks, is considerably hilly. Please take into account these factors when planning your tour so you will be comfortable while enjoying our town.
